Passion 4 God courses
Passion for God is a series of short courses for any person, parish or deanery in the Peterborough diocese wanting to live more for God but needing an injection of excitement, know-how, theology or spirituality. The courses are designed to enthuse, educate and equip people to live God’s passion for the world.

Many of the courses have been inspired by people in parishes saying, “I wish there was a course on x”. The courses are grouped into four areas of interest, each one reflecting the priorities outlined in the Diocesan Strategy:

A: Passion for Worship
B: Passion for Mission
C: Passion for the Church
D: Passion for the World

The courses offer help in the three vital areas of spirituality - worship and prayer; study - the Bible and its relevance to life today; and action - practical action in the church and in the world.

IT training and equipment
The Family Friendly Churches Trust can particularly help churches with the installation of IT equipment in Churches. Mike Bossingham has been leading PowerPoint Courses for many years and can give solid advice on the purchasing and installation of projectors. The choice of projectors these days is very wide. Churches need to make good purchasing decisions and then make the best use of the equipment they have. You can find out more at www.familyfriendlychurches.org.uk/mmweekend.htm

Alternatively you may feel that you would like some intensive training for yourself. The trust runs residential courses at Willersley Castle in Derbyshire. As a minister you should find that you can use your CDIM allowance to pay for such a course. You can find out more at www.familyfriendlychurches.org.uk/resident.htm

To find out further information about the Family Friendly Churches Trust and other courses Mike runs please go to www.familyfriendlychurches.org.uk
